Sinulog Procession 2016

Pit Senyor! I know that many of you had a great day yesterday in the procession. Yes, yes, me as well and same goes to my family. We had a great experience too and specially to my one year old son, he was just so relax since we started the walk and until we finished.

To be precise, my son was asleep for almost an hour in his stroller and when he was awake, he was just staring at everyone and his mother.

And about the walk, it was really not that long because we didn’t begin from the starting point but half-way of the procession, so the heat was not a big deal and almost all of the routes are shaded.

As we walked together with everyone in the procession, I also had a great time taking photos, and we also prayed our rosary. With our long walk, there were lots of nice subjects and composition to take photos of. If only I was able to register the Sinulog contest, I would be able to submit some good photo entries but I can’t. Check below for all the photos taken during the procession.

This year’s celebration is the first time that I didn’t feel the beat and excitement of Sinulog. As a parent, I think it’s really our instinct to make our baby a priority. I’m not even sure today if I will be going out to have fun. Maybe I’ll be staying here at home for the whole day facing my computer or watch movies.

After the long walk, we went to the Senior Citizen Park in front the City Hall to take a break. While we were taking a break, I had the opportunity to take photos of my wife and son in the park. I have some great photos of them both. I really enjoyed editing all the photos last night. I really loved every moment captured by my camera, it was priceless.
